Looking forward to 2012!

2011 proved to be a very chaotic but satisfying year for me. My involvement as the web/social media chair for the overnight of RAGBRAI in my hometown, Altoona, was challenging and demanding – but it also forced me to think outside the box and be quick on my feet. I learned so many things that I am able to utilize with my other clients – and was also made aware of why RAGBRAI waits at least 5 years before planning an overnight in the same towns. I was exhausted for weeks afterwards. It was a great experience, however, and one that I will cherish. I made so many new friends and business acquaintances!

I have also been blessed with some incredible clients – clients that I love promoting and working with, knowing that theirs causes are for “good”. After 35 years of working with a very diverse list of clients, I feel that this is the cream of the crop. I respect their work – and they respect mine. Life is good.

My involvement in the Altoona Area Chamber of Commerce has also been a blessing for me. I rub elbows with extremely talented and motivated folks – and they inspire me to reach for higher ambitions than I ever thought possible. Thank you!

2012 is showing signs of being a wonderful year. With additional work with my existing clients, and also my associations with Caring Hands Outreach Food Pantry, the ISSA Trust Foundation and being a board member for an organization developing a non-profit health facility in DM, I think my spare time will be quite full!

I wish all of you Happy Holidays – and may we all look forward to an amazing 2012. God bless.
